Necklace yoga MALA

Traditional mala has 108 beads made of minerals, precious stones, wood or rudrashakra. The 109th bead is a guru bead placed above the tassel. Mala was mainly used to keep counting mantras during meditation. But of course there is no need to use mala for meditation. It should simply be worn as a reminder of your intention (sankalpa). Buddhist customs also say that the human soul has to go through 108 levels in its life in order to complete its journey. There is nothing random about the necklace.
